EiiR Children’s Art Competition
In celebration of Her Majesty The Queen’s 85th birthday, Look and Learn held an international children’s competition to paint her portrait. The nearly 15,000 competition entries were judged in three age categories and the winners’s entries have been revealed.
All entries have been included on a digital photo frame sent to The Queen, as well as appearing in Look and Learn’s online children’s art gallery. Every child entering received a personalised digital participation certificate and his or her own online gallery space.
The 53 winners will receive cash prizes totalling over £2,000 (approx. US$3,250), commemorative mugs, printed certificates, and individual press releases announcing their success.
